On January 7th & 8th my community was devastated by the Eaton Fire which swept through Altadena and parts of Pasadena. Over 6500 structures were destroyed and 17 people lost their lives. It’s hard to convey the loss with words or even pictures. My family and I were extremely lucky, the fire literally stopped at our driveway. Although not damaged by fire directly, our home was unlivable due to smoke and ash for over 2 months. Many friends and neighbors are still looking for temporary or permanent housing. Outside of our community most people have moved on with their lives and don’t give what happened much thought, which is completely ok, but for many getting back to ‘normal’ isn’t an option. Proceeds from these sales will go directly to helping those affected. Thank you.
